Repeat this process until the areas you wish to clean are completely covered. You can color code cotton balls and modify the solution by adding oil soap or hydrogen peroxide for areas that are more stubborn.

At the end of the day or the next morning, remove the cotton balls and rinse the sink clean.

Bar Keepers Friend

Bar Keepers Friend can make good work of stainless steel shower heads and faucets. It will make the surface shiny and like new with a clean fresh scent.

Just wet the surface and rub on a small amount of Bar Keepers Friend. Rub in circular motions until the grime, if there’s any, lifts away.

Just buy large pieces of microfiber cloth and cut them into smaller sizes. Ensure that the sizes are easy to manage.

Fold them and place them in a container or mason jar. Keep these close for daily polishing of small fixtures like sinks and shower heads.

Lemon in a Bag

An all natural cleaning solution that works every time is lemon. Cut a lemon in half and anchor the mouth of the faucet in the center.

Move this around to give the area a scrub. Then secure a plastic bag around it and let it sit for a few hours. After the time has elapsed, remove it and rinse the faucet clean.

You can also use this to  clean the entire sink or tub, just cut the lemon into smaller pieces and rub it on. You can also incorporate salt in this solution for a stronger clean.

Use the power of steam to clean the shower head as you shower. Just turn the shower on warm. Allow it to heat up enough to release steam.

Once it begins to rise, the shower head will get cloudy. Apply a small amount of baking soda and give it a scrub. Wipe it clean and allow it to dry.

The steam will loosen all the hard water and soap scum. This will allow you to quickly and easily wipe it clean.
