HOMEMADE DISH SOAP
In these times when we are cutting back on spending, making your own homemade products will surely help you to save. To make a dish soap using Fels- Naptha, you will need to grater 1/4 cup Fels- Naptha.
Add this to 1 cup of water. Bring this mixture to a full boil. Allow to cool, before pouring into a bottle with a sprout, you will enjoy doing it.
GROUT CLEANER
To remove build up from tile grout, use a corner on a bar of Fels- Naptha soap to rub on the grout. Allow resting for 15 minutes before scrubbing with a toothbrush. Rinse with warm water and dry.
PRE-TREAT STAINS
To remove those stubborn stains such as make-up stains, grass stains, oil, chocolate and lipstick stains.
Rub a bar of Fels- Naptha on stains before washing. Wash on medium wash for the best results.
TOILET CLEANER
To get that gunky toilet smelling fresh. Melt a bar of Fels- Naptha in 6 cups of water. Allow to cool, then add to 10 drops of your favorite essential oils. Pour into your toilet bowl, brush with a toilet brush and flush.
SNEAKERS ODOR REMOVER
Bad sneakers? Simply rub a wet bar of Fels- Naptha over them, and proceed to clean. This will loosen up grease and mud. Wash or wipe with a wet cloth. Your sneakers will also have a pleasant odor.
BLEACHING AGENT
Forget about that fancy brand bleach. For whiter whites, dissolve a bar of Fels- Naptha in a sink of water overnight. Allow whites to soak. The next morning, wash as normal. The results will be mind-blowing.
SHOWER SCUM REMOVER
To remove scum from your shower, simply rub your Fels- Naptha on a sponge. Lather all areas of the shower. Rinse with warm water and dry with a clean cloth. This is sure to save you a few bucks.
ALUMINUM CLEANER
This will get those aluminum shinning once more. Rub a bar of Fels- Naptha on a sponge, smooth all over. Allow sitting for 5 minutes. Rinse with warm water and dry with a clean towel.
REMOVE PAINT FROM BRUSHES
Simply do this by lathering your brush with a bar of Fels- Naptha. Rinse well with warm water. You may want to repeat this twice for the best results.
REMOVE BABY FORMULA STAINS
Babies spill, they spit up, and its all on those pretty little clothes or blankets. Lather the clothes with a wet bar of Fels-Naptha.
Allow to soak in 1 gallon of water, add to this 1/2 cup of borax, and mix well. Wash as you usually would.
REMOVE INK STAINS
How about that ink stain on your favorite shirt, An ink stain can be a hassle to remove. Remove this by damping the spot with a touch of hydrogen peroxide, rub on a bar of Fels- Naptha.
Allow sitting for 5 minutes. Rub the area with a damp cloth until the stain disappears. Wash instantly after to avoid drying.
REMOVE GREASE
Replace expensively hand soap with Fels-Naptha. Using a bar of Fels-Naptha, lather greasy hands or tools to instantly remove grease. Wash hands thoroughly and dry.
TREAT MILDEW
Keep your out and indoor furniture free from mildew by simply washing or wiping with Fels-Naptha.
Mix 2 part water with 2 parts bleach. Rub the area with Fels-Naptha and rinse.
WINE STAIN REMOVER
To remove a wine stain, which can be a hassle without actually damaging the fabric is a piece of work.
With Fels Naptha, this can be removed in a wink. Grate a 1/4 cup Fels-Naptha in 1 gallon of water [hot]. Soak the item for 1 hour and wash.
TRASH CAN ODOR REMOVER
Remove that high odor from your bin by lathering a piece of sponge with Fels-Naptha. Use this to scrub your bin . rinse well with warm water and dry before using.
SINK DEGREASER
To remove nasty grease from your sink, Fels-Naptha can really help. Simply lather your sponge. wipe the entire sink. Rinse with warm water and dry.
CARPET CLEANER
Mix 1/2 cup of Fels-Naptha [grated] in 2 gallons of water. Bring this to a boil. Let it cool. If you chose this can be used with regular carpet shampoo or by itself. Have fun cleaning.
REMOVE STICKERS AND LABELS
It’s economical to conserve buy reusing food containers that we purchase at the store. Removing the label is the problem. To remove, simply rub a wet bar of Fels-Naptha over the glued area.
Let it sit for 1 minute. peel off slowly, and then scrub the area with warm water.
CHOCOLATE STAIN REMOVER
To remove chocolate stains. Rub the stain with Fels-Naptha. Soak the item in Borax and water for 1/2 hour. Wash as you would normally do.

Simply grate a bar of Fels-Naptha. Dissolve in 2 cups of boiling water. Boil until soap is completely dissolved. Allow to cool, and store in a labeled container.
CLEAN BASEBALL PANTS
These pants are known to have hard to remove mud stains all over. Just giving it a normal wash won’t cut it. Pretreat by pouring water on the pants.
Lather the entire pants with a bar of Fels-Naptha. Leave this on for 1 hour, to loosen stain.wash as normal.
RAG AND TOWEL DEODORIZER
These can have a musky smelly even after washing. To eliminate this problem you may want to consider Fels-Naptha soap.
Bring to a boil 1/2 cup of grated Fels-Naptha, allow cooling. Add to this your favorite fabric softener and wash. you won’t believe the freshness.
