Lentil Balls are on my list of favorite recipes to make. And they are on my list of favorite things to eat too.
You get the idea… I really really really like some good Lentil Balls.
Here is how to make these easy and yummy Lentil Balls.
1 1/2 Cup Boiled Lentils
8 Tbs All Purpose flour
4 Cloves Garlic
3 Tbs Chopped Scallion
1 Tbs Thyme Leaves
2 Tbs Oil
Salt To Taste
Process the garlic, scallion, oil and thyme in a blender to make a paste.
Combine the lentil with the flour and the paste. Add salt to taste. Make sure everything is incorporated properly.
The batter you make should be thick and not runny at all.
Scoop small amounts of the batter and shape into balls. I do that with the palm of my hands.
Deep fry for 5 to 10 minutes. Or until you know they are properly processed.
I like to take one of the balls out of the put and cut it in the middle to be certain the balls are properly cooked.
